Jaime’s commitment to exceptional service has resulted in Baker & Co. being selected as the exclusive representative of Forbes Global Properties in the Houston area. Jaime was the first person to bring the brand to Texas and represented Houston through Forbes from 2022 to 2025 before deciding to bring her business and team of agents to Compass. 

From an early age, Jaime understood the importance of home—what it means to individuals, families, and communities. A 10th-generation native Houstonian, she traces her family’s roots in the Katy area back to before the Civil War. Jaime grew up in a town largely built by her family, who moved to the area in the 1840s and established a successful general contracting business. Each succeeding generation has added to the legacy, including Jaime’s father, a highly respected remodeling specialist for more than 40 years. She absorbed lessons about great design from him and instinctively knew her life’s mission would be to guide others in finding their perfect home. Her family is prominently featured in the January 2016 Legacy Families edition of Katy Magazine, and again in the 2018 article Cornerstone Legacy Families of Katy, Texas. 

Jaime brings an unusual depth of knowledge to her profession. She earned her real estate license and sold her first home while still a full-time student at Texas State University, where she was an honors graduate and a member of Delta Zeta sorority. Her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies emphasized Mass Communications, Business Administration, and Consumer Science. Early in her career, she located homes and apartments for clients across Central Texas. 

After graduation, she transitioned into luxury new construction home sales in Houston, gaining firsthand experience in design and construction. Her combined knowledge of real estate sales and home construction gives clients a distinct advantage. Jaime often suggests design changes and improvements to maximize a property's appeal and value. She also offers vision and guidance to help buyers see potential in a prospective home which is helpful to her investor clients. Her approach is defined by determination and a client-first mindset—she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her clients’ goals are met and exceeded. 

Jaime holds both the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designations. She is exceptionally proficient in both current and emerging real estate technologies, and is known for her personable, grounded nature and innovative problem-solving skills. 

An early adopter of social media as a marketing tool, Jaime taught social media classes to her colleagues before launching Baker & Co., helping them connect with clients online. That foresight earned her recognition on Property Spark’s Top 20 Young Real Estate Agents on Social Media in 2017. Innovation runs in her blood—her great-grandmother was an industry trailblazer who served as President of the Texas Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Vice President of the National Women’s Council of REALTORS®, and helped develop the original multiple listing service.

Though she is highly driven in her career, Jaime also values balance. She is an animal lover who enjoys yoga, pilates, tennis, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling. She has a passion for metaphysical studies, including astrology and numerology. As an Enneagram Type 4, she possesses a deep emotional intelligence and an intuitive understanding of others. Her creativity and ability to think deeply and empathetically continue to set her apart—earning her a reputation early on as a rising force in Houston real estate.
